2019 WISPA Award Entries

It should come as no surprise that I’m a big fan of women’s sport in both my personal and professional life. The Women in Sport Photo Action Awards bring this interest together with my hobby of photography. Here are my three entries for this year’s contest, each of which were previously shared in my Instagram feed and/or story.

I finally got the chance to visit Suncorp Stadium. It’s a great venue that gets LOUD, even at half capacity as it was last night. We were hoping for a better game but the Broncos ran out 50–18 winners after being up 32-0 at halftime. Still, the faithful were into it and pumped up the volume. Onya, Brisbane.

A Try For The Good Guys

Last night my Roosters handled the in-form Panthers with relative ease. I fell in love with League instantly upon arriving in Australia in 2009 and I’ve been a Roosters member ever since. That’s Blake Ferguson scoring a try for the good guys, and the kids in the front row are loving it. Go the Roosters! 🐔
