From the Australia vs. England ODI at the SCG back in January. This was my favourite shot of the day, and it’s the only one that doesn’t feature the field of play. Just a couple of coppas hoping for some runs – no worries, mate.
Took a couple of days to edit the photos from Day Four, but this one stood out. Amanda-Jade Wellington doing work as the test wound down.
And on Day Three I and the other nearly 4,000 in attendance witnessed Australian cricket history: Ellyse Perry unbeaten for 213. This test – my first – has been memorable enough already, but I’ll carry the memory of witnessing Perry’s monumental accomplishment for the rest of my life. No photo of the moment itself – I wanted to live it properly.
Day Two and we have ourselves a match. C’mon Aussie, C’mon.
Yesterday I enjoyed Day One of my first ever test match and it’s a memory I’ll carry for the rest of my life. I’m headed out to North Sydney Oval for Day Two today. Hoping to see some quick wickets and then a bunch of runs from the Southern Stars.
